The objective of the WP Optical System Development is the generation of a concept and a model of a micro-imaging device including illumination and vision, based on semiconductor technology. To meet these objectives, a multi-element vision system will be designed and evaluated. Imaging modules for frontal but also side-viewing capabilities are necessary.
