Starting from the medical and technological background relevant to the ARAKNES objectives and assessed in WP2, innovative surgical procedures will be defined by the medical partners of the project. These will serve as guidelines for the design of the ARAKNES system architecture.
In the frame of this WP a close collaboration between the medical and the technological partners will be of utmost importance. The main outcomes of this WP will be the description of the targeted procedures to be achieved using the ARAKNES platform and a detailed system architecture, where all the possible interfaces among the different modules are clearly identified.
